The former Croatian national player and coach, 48-years old Aljosa Asanovic has joined DAC as technical director of football. He signed a 3-year contract with the club.
Mr. Asanovic will provide technical advice on footballing and other aspects needed within FC DAC 1904. His role is to assist the coaching staff of FC DAC 1904 by handling aspects which will contribute to the development of day-to-day coaching within the club. More specifically his experience will be used to provide technical and tactical advice to the coaching staff, advice the board on football matters, develop recruitment strategies and prepare scouting assignments. As an experienced international football figure, Mr. Asanovic will be responsible for international matters at FC DAC 1904. Overall, he will be responsible for further professionalization of football matters within the club and oversee all levels of the club - youth to first team and contribute to the development of everybody at the club. As our club has a clear objective to work and develop youngsters, Mr. Asanovic will also be actively involved in the youth development system. To this end, he will oversee overall working of the youth academy of the club, its recruitment strategies and its integration in the 1st team of the club. Mr. Asanovic has signed an initial 3-year deal with the club and we are very proud to have attracted such a well-known person in international football. It will be a boost for everyone at the club to benefit from his valuable experience both as player and manager.
