As the old saying goes: He who does not know his past cannot make the best of his future.

1904 is the year of our club’s foundation.

It was in 1920, when our club’s then leadership firstly laid down the name of Dunaszerdahelyi Atlétikai Club. The abbreviation of the name, DAC, is proudly used by us also today. The name choice was a reaction to the changed circumstances back then. Defiant adherence – to each other, to the community, to the beloved environment, to the golden wheat field and to blue color of river Danube.

We carry this bond from one generation to the next – to our roots, our traditions, our culture.

On the 100. anniversary of the choice of the name DAC we give our respect to the heritage we got from the founders. The contemporary world of colors and motives will be evoked on the players’ uniquely designed shirts.

We wear the small memories and the symbolism of the past to carry on TOGETHER and to make the future unforgettable, too.
